With John McCain pulling his campaign staff out of Michigan, I think this Republican ticket is feeling the heat and this debate could mark a turning point.
“They’ve both got to worry more about themselves than they do each other,” Geraldine Ferraro, a Democrat who was the only previous female major party vice presidential pick, recently told ABCNews.com.

Here’s the rundown, based on conversations with political pros, on what Palin and Biden need to do Thursday night to push the ball forward.
Palin on Offense:Be confident and knowledgeable. But be yourself. Contrast your fresh ideas and accomplishments with Biden’s long history of votes and speeches.
Biden on Offense: Be restrained — but not so restrained that you seem patronizing. Stick to the issues. Go after McCain over Palin when possible. Most importantly, don’t be yourself.
And so it goes. And so it shall be.
