Well I tried watching Lost the first season; there is a reason why it’s called Lost. I like my TV nice, lite, and entertaining. I just don’t like to feel like I’ve taken a 100 page quiz and only got 50 questions right when watching TV. Just a personal preference.

Well if it’s the one they showed on 60 minutes Sunday night, it’s pretty bad. You have to click on a link to watch a video. When you click on the link, the virus sends all banking/personal information when you log in to your computer and surf. Basically the virus allows the hacker/worm to mirror all the information you see on your computer.

yeah Nana, it appears so. In GA they usually take you in to post bail above a certain speed…..I believe it’s 95. They can still let you go on a copy of the ticket but usually don’t.
Seems I read that’s about to change or they are increasing the fine for excessive speed.

back when I was the PoPo, I remember a similar situation, only I stopped a car for speeding with its flashers on and found that they were headed to the hospital……but with a gunshot victim in the back seat. Dummies didn’t call for an ambulance and the guy was bleeding. I advised the dispatch after sending them on their way and escorted them….they were about 3-4 miles from the hosp. when I stopped them. About half way there my LT calls on the radio and says don’t help in the transport, stop them and call an ambulance. I did as ordered and we waited 5 minutes on the ambulance to get there while sitting about a mile away from the ER.
The ambulance got there, and started treating the guy, and transported him. Later that day the EMT calls me and asks why didn’t I just make sure the guy got to the hosp ASAP? I told him I followed orders which were against my wishes and common sense. He said the guy had pretty much NO BP when they got there but somehow made it anyway.
Just goes to show that the officer on the street doesn’t always make the decision….usually due to liability issues IMO. Sometimes the decision to know what to do can be really tough.
Not sure that’s the case in Dallas though, esp since the guy is already making public apologies.

SALT LAKE CITY – Police said a customer fired one or two shots into a Salt Lake City McDonald’s after the driver of the car he was in was told the restaurant was not serving lunch yet. Police said the female driver of a white Dodge Intrepid pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered from the lunch menu early Sunday but was told only breakfast was available.
Police said two men then got out of the car and one pulled a sawed-off shotgun from the trunk, shooting into the drive-thru window once or twice, The Salt Lake Tribune reported Monday. No one was injured.
The car then left the scene.
